is the raiden mid affected by humidity

for context i live in florida. when i first hop on for a sesh it feels slow and kinda muddy. i have a fan right next to my desk and it blows at my hand/mousepad and my pad feels fast after 10 minutes. am i just a schizo or is it possible that the mousepad is slower due to humidity or something else.
