I(m18)found out he(24m) may or may not have a boyfriend and i don’t know what to do i need advice

So last week, i went out with a friend to a coffee shop to catch up. and we were talking about boys and things like that. I noticed a cute boy who worked there and i told my friend after we talked for about an hour or so there was some girls that my friend knew they waved at her and called her name. she went over to their table to say hi. In the same time i paid went and paid for my drinks and asked my friend if she’s okay with staying with her friends or should i walk her home she said she’s fine i went home took a shower and layed down and I noticed a notification on my phone the cute waiter followed me on instagram i felt a bit excited honestly and called the same friend and i told you remember the cute waiter for earlier she said yes he asked the girls that i knew about your ig account that’s why they called me we talked for a bit then i went to sleep few days later i went to the same coffee shop with my same friend and some other friends. We exchanged some looks few times nothing big yk anyways when i got home he texted me that he found me cute i responded that i thought the same thing we talked for a bit. Then i sent an old friend a funny video i found that we did and she responded immediately and we talked about it and all then i asked her about her love life then she asked me about mine i told her about the waiter and showed her few pics for his account she said she knew him and that he was a friend of one of her close friends and if she should investigate about him lol. i told her yea go for it. today him and i were talking my old friend texted me again she said she got dirt on him i thought it was gonna be like something normal she said that he have a boyfriend and they love each other so much according to her friend and they always talk about serious things and that they have been together for a long time(more than 1 year) i was a bit shocked and sad but i didn’t showed i just said i was gonna block him she said don’t my friend and him didn’t for a while and maybe they broke up or something you should try to figure things out before you act i thought it was weird cause if they broke up recently he’s not over his ex anyway I called my friend from the coffee shop and told her what i found out she was as shocked as i was and said that it was impossible cause she knew that he was in relationship with a girl about 1 year ago (he’s bisexual) so it’s impossible for him to have a long term boyfriend. Honestly I don’t know what to think or do. I really need advice.
