my hot take on ACNH

for starters, im seeing many say ACNH is their least favorite animal crossing game. most people say that new leaf is their favorite. i have played every animal crossing game except the gamecube game (never had one) so here is my raw honest opinion.

ACNL is my favorite animal crossing game. while the customization options are a little more limited than ACNH, it has that charm and nostalgic feeling. ACNH however, introduced MANY new customization features, which i love since i am a sucker for customization. what people dont understand is that ACNH was made to introduce something new - more customization. the game is centered around customization. this is the reason we start out on a deserted island, so we can start from scratch and make it whatever we want.

people that hate ACNH are just people who cant let go of the past and cant accept change. change is amazing, especially after 4 games consisting of the same main “town” feel. i love ACNH for its customization and ACNL for its unique features and its own charm. there doesnt always have to be a war against games, each game is unique in its own way and i think some people just need to accept change.

the AC community is confusing, doesnt like change but also hates city folk for being too similar to wild world, make it make sense? hates city folk for grass deterioration, but its also in new leaf and no one says anything? this community is unfortunately always complaining.
