Longines or Tissot? Budget allocation

Discussion

I like Longines Hydroconquest 39mm watch. It costs around 1.7 lakhs. But I don’t know whether I should be spending that much for my first Swiss Automatic watch. My other option is to buy Tissot Seastar 1000 which I’m comfortable to purchase for around 65k. But I feel that somehow I’ll always aspire to buy Hydroconquest and keep this Tissot in my closet forever. Given this scenario, should I buy a watch which is entirely different to cater the purpose, like a dress watch? I usually dress casual or streetwear so I’m not finding anything to justify for everyday watch. Can someone suggest me how much I should be spending on a watch? Is there any number that I should look out for? Let me know is it better to wait and get the Longines.
