The nurse on frailty ward

I remember working on the frailty ward where there was a middle-aged nurse I still think about.

One day I was wearing my Crocs, and she all of a sudden told me, “I like your Crocs.”

I didn’t know what to say, so I mentioned I bought them from Amazon and offered to buy a pair for her if she liked them.

She mentioned something along the lines of her ex-boyfriend having similar Crocs, etc.

Was she trying to be flirty and show interest in a subtle way? I wouldn’t mind starting something with a nurse who’s a bit older than me.

I saw her recently and she’s become a sister in navy scrubs.

Not sure.
