My view on homosexuality
In the past, I mistakenly did mental stretches to assume that bans on homosexuality were based on the cultural context of pederasty and pagan practices. I did these stretches because I was biased into thinking God would care most about care and fairness (which are some of the 5 values in Johnathan Haidt's righteous mind), when in reality, God may also value social order related moral values. This means that I now think the biblical ban on homosexuality was probably universal (at the time), since that is more coherent with the text, and doesn't require mental stretches. That being said, however, I think banning homosexuality in the bible was probably meant more for the time than for now, because back then, banning homosexuality would be beneficial to social order, and marriages were not based on romantic love, so it would not come at the expense of care and fairness. But now that marriage is based on romantic love, banning homosexuality would come at the expense of care and fairness, and I'm not sure a good god would continue the ban to this day for this reason.
