Why are people against lowering rates?
I understand the concept of knowing your worth and it feels more personal because we’re essentially selling and marketing ourselves, but it’s still a business. Like I would see people asking if 120/a min private is too high for a newbie and everyone would say “no if you think you’re worth that someone will pay”
Well months ago I followed advice like that and set my rates and menu at crazy high prices. I cammed in the past but thought with inflation I should try out new prices.
People rarely paid them, but since I’ve adjusted my rates to something more reasonable, I have more buyers. Obviously you don’t wanna go so low you’re underselling yourself but you have to be realistic
