Random GPU driver crashes
Hey, I've been using my RX 580 for 2 years already and during all that time, I've been encountering a lot of problems with my computer. Before I got the 580, I had a 1650 which had no issues. Also, I changed my motherboard before I got the 580, because I fried some components on my older motherboard - basically my NVMe port stopped working, the integrated sound card stopped working and I think there were some other issues. Since I got the 580, I've been experiencing issues such as the AMD GPU driver crashing when playing games, the driver crashing when I booted up OBS. I got the GPU second hand, so I tried to RMA it. The seller didn't have any issues with the GPU when he tested it, but he sent me another one and the issues persisted.
I've also noticed problems with electricity in my room where when I plug something into the USB port on my computer or even when I plug anything into a wall socket in my room (WHEN THE COMPUTER IS RUNNING), my monitor display briefly goes black. Also, I randomly lose connection with the internet - and btw I am connected to my router by the ethernet cable. Sometimes my PSU makes weird grinding noises when I boot up the PC and it doesn't stop unless I completely shut off the PC and wait a few minutes before turning it back on.
All of those issues were happening on Windows, both 10 and 11. I was daily driving Linux for 5 months and those issues were still happening, but I didn't have much issues with the GPU driver. Sure, they were still happening, but not as frequently. I still had problems with the internet connection and the electricity in my room. I was truly convinced the AMD drivers are just wonky on Windows, so that's why I switched to Linux during the summer, but now I switched back to Windows 10 a few days ago (not because of those issues I mentioned, just because I had some unrelated problems with Linux). The issues still persist and I am just getting so tired of it. Is it really possible that it's ALL the PSU's fault??
My specs are:
-Intel i5 10400f
-16GB of RAM
-ASRock H510M-HDV/M.2 SE
-Sapphire RX 580 8GB
