Possible to run a Google audio device in a car?

So has anyone actually gotten a Google nest mini or one of the other Google audio devices to work in their car?? I want to put it up front somewhere near the passenger seat but idk if mounting it on the roof would make it overheat or something. I'll power it from from the car cig lighter outlet.

Basically I'm in my car for hours every day for work, mostly just highway driving and stuff, and I really want something I can just talk to for music and news and random questions. I looked into all the voice assistant options (Apple, Amz, Google) and Google seems like the best one by far

Has this worked for anyone or am I gonna run into issues? Where are they available to buy online?
