Walking around with a camera is like walking around with a dog

This probably does not apply to analog cameras only but it's probably more pronounced in this case :D After now roughly 4 months of photography, 3 of them with film I recognised that you get all the kinds of reactions you would probably get when walking around with a dog: Random smiles, random people start chatting with you and when you meet people with cameras, you may start a pretty long chat about film stocks, analog vs digital, even share phone numbers. Still I find it hard to find a photography/film community in Berlin that I could join...
