Have a couple question about my older model Pioneer setup.

DJ Mixers/Turntables

In my "game" room, billiard table, etc etc. I Have an original Pioneer PL-55X Direct Drive turntable, with a Pioneer Model SX-750 amplifier/receiver (My pops who just turned eighty, actually bought the receiver as a kit and assembled it), then two Pioneer CS-99A speakers.

My problem is, when the turntable is playing a record, when it gets near the end of a song, when tracking to the next song there is an awful "Worrable" sound. If I steady the spring table with a finger it stops, then obviously when the music gets loud it's fine. Have it at three ounces tracking, don't want to push any heavier than that. It's almost like a tone arm resonance.

Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated! If you need pictures, or anymore information please just let me know!

Thank you

Stay safe, healthy, and most importantly happy!
