Experiences on finding queer roommates

Hello, I've been living in my parent's house since graduating from college and while I appreciate their hospitality, I'm really wanting to move out for various reasons. And I just wanted to ask about people's experiences finding queer roommates.

Now, I'd rather live alone (I'm not, like, a shut-in or anything, I just like my me time and privacy) but in this economy? No. So I guess I'll ask: If you a queer person living with another queer person, how did you find them? Where there any roommate website you used? Did you know them before becoming their roommates?

I'd like to know because I'd like to be out of my parent's house. Not only for the desire to be, y'know, on my own but I also want to be able to express my queerness while not living under their roof because while I'm not out to them, my trans sister is and they don't really talk anymore.
