Long haul trucking or OTR is a result of an inefficient and corrupt system . It should not even exist . All truckers should be going home daily .

For one sleeping in trucks did not exist before . There is no such thing as sleeper trucks . All a trucker needs to do is drop their trailer or have the load move to inside warehouse and another trucker nearby picks it up If only all carriers work together rather than compete with one another , if only the government created a central authority that manages all the trailers and all a driver needs to do is drop their trailer and go home then OTR should not even exist . All a trucker needs to do is operate within a 300 mile radius . It saves on fuel . But long haul trucking has been turned into a business that makes business out of these poor truckers who have to pay for parking , showers , overpriced food as the truck stops .
