Can people in Europe unlock/jailbreak FSD?

Hey guys,

so I live in Europe where, as you know, we don't have FSD yet. But recently I've seen videos where random people have seemingly "unlocked" FSD on European roads. Mind you: I'm NOT talking about the ride-alongs which have now started in several countries. These seem to be normal people who have somehow managed to get FSD working:

I'm wondering: how do you know this was possible? Until now, I lived under the impression that hacking a Tesla is basically impossible. I don't want to do it myself. I'm just thinking to what degree this is fake.
