I missed 2 days of Venlafaxine/Effexor and I can't stop crying

I recently switched from Citalopram 20 mg (after 3 years) to Venlafaxine. I did a gradual switch: first 37.5 mg, now 75 mg. I’m currently in week 4 of Venlafaxine. I missed my dose for two days (Friday and Saturday) and today I completely crashed. I’ve been crying non-stop for 5 hours, I feel awful, and I can’t seem to calm down. I took my dose again today, but I still feel terrible. It honestly scared me how quickly things got out of control. Has anyone experienced something similar after missing Venlafaxine doses? How long does it take to feel normal again?
