FTF’s Future

Hi, as you all may know, the chat age group update is rolling out for the US and other countries around January 2026. For reference, I’m 19 and half Chinese. I was automatically placed into the 16-17 year old category. Obviously, I was not about to be talking to strictly minors, so I age verified with ID and my face….Roblox marked me as 22 despite having 2006 on my learner’s license. 🫩 Now I can’t change it and I’m afraid that a communication-based game like the flee the facility is going to lose half its player base because we can’t communicate. Unless they roll out a different feature, I and many others will be stuck in the wrong age group and will be unable to actually play the game. Furthermore, the 21+ audience of FTF is what I’m assuming is the sweats and uber competitive people. Not great. I really hope they don’t go forward with this update and reverse it.
