Dogs(all pets) cost $ but…
Vet care is becoming increasingly as complex as human care and I think that’s a big part of the rate increases we’re seeing. However, I feel that some vets are becoming more adept at ‘guilt tripping’ and suggesting ongoing testing just to ‘look for a needle in a haystack’. I spent $11k( a lot covered by insurance) to find out my dog needed Denamarin daily. The majority of my vet expenses have been diagnostic- not treatment. I know diagnosis is critical, but does anyone else feel that vets are pushing excessive testing?
