Bowser VS Eggman: Just a masterpiece of animation and pacing. Amazing soundtrack as well.

Top 4 (Ordered): Similar to Bowser VS Eggman with some nitpicks. Simon VS Kyle and Dante VS Clive had some very awkward shots but are nearly perfect besides that, amazing characterization and did massive justice to their source material. Ghostrider VS Spawn was sick with some of the coldest lines in the show and a great explanation for the unexpected winner, my issue with it was that the fight projected who was gonna win very clearly (the track is also the best in the show btw). Ash VS Yugi barely makes it here because I think the constant switch between 2D and 3D is off-putting, and the fight kinda becomes a bit hard to follow at times, but it has one of the best endings of any death battle, so that highly elevates it for me.

Great fights: Very enjoyable fights that have some more prominent issues, the most controversial on this list would probably be Among Us VS Fall Guys, but I loved how they did that fight so much and the fight between the impostor and the fall guy was so cool, with the fortnite dance at the end being so damn funny 😭

Good fights: These fights aren't bad, but they either have a very lackluster breakdown, or the fight just isn't as good as the others, whether it be due to animation or pacing. One fight I'd like to comment on is Blade VS Buffy, the first half I was not a fan of at all, but the 2nd half was very good! The camera angles were just very bad and weird for me, I understand it's meant to be a reference to how action scenes were coregraphed in that era

Mid fights: Just underwhelming. For me Hulkzilla was a major disappointment, I can appreciate the direction they went with by giving Bruce Banner the win, but the fight felt so boring and didn't do either character justice for me, there's so much more they could've done. Miles VS Deku wasn't that good but it's mediocrity was exacerbated by the horrendous dialogue.
