AITA for not supporting my Nanna

For context, my family (2 adults and 2 young children) live in a ground floor unit in block of 4 units. The other 3 units are lived in by single elderly females. 1 of those is my Nanna. She is 93 and starting to have mobility issues and lives in one of the units upstairs. My dad has started having conversations about what is best for her and 1 of those short term fixes is to install a stair chair lift in the communal stairwell.

The way the block is setup means the chair will be parked next to my front door when on the ground floor. The track will also run along the outside of our living room wall and potentially be noisy. We want to sell in the next year or so and I am concerned this would impact the type of buyer we reach and potentially the amount we sell for as it will be seen as ‘an old persons’ unit block.

AITA for saying no to installing the stair chairlift?
