Fabricating for a Function Part 2
Here is my design for my chip clip. It has a zig-zag entrance that you should file the bag through, it is 10 mm wide, providing enough space to easily fish it through, yet, due to its shape and form, it should prevent the bag from unravelling itself very easily. After the top of the bag has been fed through the entrance, there is a circle area in which the user will roll the bag to create a rolled bag that is securely locked in place due to the shape of the entrance and design of the chip clip. The overall chip clip is 90mm long, and the circle is 40mm long, these measurements were chosen based off a ruler I had and my determination of how much space would be needed to adequately secure the chip bag and prevent it from unravelling. Dimensions may need to be adjusted but I feel like they are a good balance. Will not truly know until I try it out however.
