My grandma has just been diagnosed with dementia how do i prepare?

For clarification, i’ve known my grandma my entite life and she is a very sweet woman. I really dont wanna lose her and i feel rea depressed whenever i talk about it or think about it. I just want some tips on how to prepare for her not remembering me and on how to not have a mental breakdown. thanks
