Need help with a league "issue".

• I play in a 14 team 0.5 PPR league with friends that's going on it's 15th year (non-money, strictly for bragging rights).

• At some point in time at we implemented a move limit in the league. It's been 5+ seasons since the change.

• We had a new individual replace a legacy team at the start of the season. I recapped the rules for this team in the group chat explicitly calling out the move limit.

• A different team that's been around for 4-5 seasons hit their move limit in Week 14. Prior to the games today this team asked me to increase the move limit as they claimed to be unaware of it / confused (as their other leagues don't have one). This team will be in the playoffs but just lost their TE during the Week 14 games, with no other TE on their roster.

What would you do as commish? Would you increase the limit or tell the owner to kick rocks?

*I'm leaning towards letting the move limit stand - but only 2 other teams are close to the limit (with one of them being mine).
