What camera and lens should I buy for macro photography or potentially wild animals photography?

I don’t have any previous equipment.

I want to do macro photography primarily, amateur, of insects, eyes. I’ve heard that I shouldn’t start with macro if I’m new to photography, so my second option is buying lens to photograph birds and animals.

Is it primarily for photography but I wouldn’t mind videography too because I paint and I’d like to record my painting progress for reels.

I’m overwhelmed by my options so I’m asking for help here! Thank you in advance
