Reddit is nothing but a dictatorship that thrives on collective punishment and online harassment

Upon meticulous and thorough examination, one cannot help but inevitably notice that the relentless and unwavering insistence by the website known as Reddit on stringent moderation, coupled with its exceptionally rigorous and demanding requirements regarding both the tone and content of user-generated posts, serves as a profoundly significant impediment to meaningful engagement.

This circumstance renders it exceedingly difficult, almost impossible in nature, for individuals to approach this particular platform with the gravitas and earnest seriousness that it fervently seeks to cultivate and nurture because all this website does is punish people who step out of line by downvoting them into oblivion and carrying out harassment campaigns against them too.

Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart and a deep sense of melancholy that one must recognize that Reddit has, regrettably, devolved over the course of time into a sinister and toxic wasteland a veritable cesspool brimming with overt biases and deeply entrenched perspectives that stifle diversity.

The most glaringly apparent consequences of this disheartening transformation are the abrupt and indiscriminate bans enacted against every form of content that fails to align with the narrowly defined viewpoints held by the moderators, or that they arbitrarily deem offensive, particularly across the vast array of subreddits that populate this digital sphere.

The most apt term to encapsulate this profoundly troubling circumstance is that of "collective punishment" an excessively severe and draconian tactic that indiscriminately punishes the broader community for the minor transgressions committed by a select few, reminiscent of the classic tactics employed by tyrannical regimes to purge and annihilate millions who dared to express dissent against the governing powers.

In this deeply unsettling environment, an entire subreddit can tragically suffer the same draconian fate if even a single individual dares to speak out of line and thus, one poor actor has the capacity to spoil the entire community's experience and ruining their image as a platform to express themselves and this cannot go on if they want to gain anything in the stock market.

This is indicative of totalitarian maneuvers to weed out perceived threats, with numerous subreddits, once vibrant and diverse, finding themselves subjected to sweeping and merciless purges, all of this is instigated by the capricious decisions of power-hungry administrators, alongside their underappreciated minions who servilely cater to the whims of an inexperienced and immature CEO who acts like a dictator of a country instead of a CEO.
