With every S-Tier character, even all the A+ (CUZ THEY ARE SPECIAL and some aren’t even obtainable anymore like the dynamic setter), and almost everyone +5, with every accolade and every obtainable item, here’s my top player at every position.

WS: Raul - I feel after all of Nishi’s nerfs, he’s FINALLY been dethroned. Idk why Raul didn’t have approach built into his character like Nishi & Jenny, but turning it on when playing, lets me spike serve 170 (no stat boosts @ base in practice) with more control with aim. Plus the alternate spiking abilities finally has me admitting the new no. 1.

S: Sara - Obviously the most powerful spiking setter that gives us consistent power at the setter spot. Many don’t know the diff setter natures but Sara has something between Dynamic and challenging, which gives quick sets while standing. What she lacks is Sohees back line dump and Ellios hybrid serve and I feel that would make her undisputedly the best player in the game period. Her new skin gives us the slow-mo flat ball animation on perfect spikes connecting the teammates with in sync play. Sara at the setter means you can still play both WS or MB and the AI adjusts accordingly. I used to only play Sara and Robert/Atis for her ground quick sets for a long time.

MB: Claire - this position has never had a flat out undisputed no. 1. Most would throw Sanghyeon for his ability only and I agreed. But now that we finally have an ability buffing MB that has both power, height and versatility, Claire’s gameplay is amazing with Sara, Sif and Sohee. A great all around player that has no weaknesses. I’d throw Hanra, second. Hitting line shots is one of the most satisfying parts of the game.
