The Minimal Exposure Protocol (MEP) — White Paper v1.0 Released (DOI Inside)
Today I officially released:
《Minimal Exposure Protocol (MEP)》 WHITE PAPER v1.0
DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17849833
The Minimal Exposure Protocol (MEP) defines a foundational governance standard for next-generation AI systems.
It establishes the principle that an AI system must minimize the cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and identity-related exposure required from the human user in order to operate safely.
Key contributions of MEP include:
• A universal definition of exposure minimization
• Operational rules that shift burden from user to system
• System-level architectural requirements
• Governance and regulatory implications
• A phased roadmap for international adoption
The protocol prohibits redundant querying, forced restatement, unnecessary exposure expansion, and any behavior that increases the user's observable surface.
This publication is released under WISL v1.6 — Legal Appendix Edition,
which restricts machine processing, embedding, vectorization, training usage, distillation, or structural decomposition.
Private personal reading is permitted; all other uses require written authorization.
