CPT Airport to Stellenbosch around 6:30 pm?

We’re flying into Cape Town and will be landing at 16:50. By the time we get our luggage and pick up our rental car, it’ll probably be around 18:00–18:30. Do you think it’s still okay to drive to Stellenbosch at that time? Sunset should be around 20:00, but I’m not sure if there’s anything we should be worried about. Also, is there anything we should keep in mind when choosing the route from the airport to Stellenbosch? Thanks so much!
