Looking for a roommate - 25F - 1.6k-2k/month - January start

Hi! I'm 25 years old and an engineer working full-time who is looking for a roommate (ideally AFAB) to apartment hunt with for a January 2026 start date (timing is flexible and can be February if need be).

Place-wise:

- My portion of the budget is around $1,600-$2,000 per month before utilities.

- Non-negotiables: a washer/dryer in-unit or in-building, non-flexed apartment

- After that, ideally a place that has a reasonable commute to Times Square would be great (~30 min or less).

- Potential neighborhoods (not limited to these): Manhattan (Hell's Kitchen, Lenox Hill), Brooklyn (Prospect Park, Kensington), Queens (LIC, Astoria)

A little about me:

- I am LGBTQ+ friendly, no pets, don't party much or have many guests over, and am clean and respectful, and would ideally room with someone similar.

- I work 9-5 hybrid (currently 2 days in-person, 3 at home).

- I am pretty relaxed and spend a lot of time playing (TT)RPGs or just watching Netflix too. Down to be friends or just chill acquaintances ^^
