I’m 20, almost 21. Never tried weed before, how do I start out?

I have some very newbie questions so please bare with me.

Are edibles beginner or for the more experienced? I’ve seen gummies around too. What about brands? I’m completely ignorant here. I want to try it for the first time, just to see what it’s like. I’m in California and I know we have a strong culture here but I wanted to wait until I‘m legally allowed to buy some.

I assume if I do it right I’m gonna feel very calm or something. What’s the first time usually like?
