Expedition = Psychological Death
It really is a terrible idea. It compliments getting into the game with nothing -> free loadout, better luck next time if you die. So much fun. -> everyone on suicide mode. So much fun. Co-op? Expect to get shot in the back. So much fun. Don't want all that crap and just enjoy the game as is? Bad luck, more people than not seem to want that extra 5 skill points. It's an advantage, after all. So much fun. You made the game incredibly aggressive, because this is the generation of people with the fear of missing out stamped into their head. You're alienating the people who make this game interesting. Those who enjoy the tension and much more the relief of hearing an honest "friendly, wanna team up?". This is an absurd idea, psychologically speaking. It compliments the worst part of this game. To offer an alternative: Kill so and so many ARC robots. Get points if you revive someone. Get credits if you drop a blueprint someone doesn't have yet and they're not in your friends list. Support cooperation, not paranoia. Make shitty behavior less beneficial. Right now the game feels Oh, so much fun.
