Hi All! I wanted to share my experience with Griffin, and my first Goyard piece from him.

As disclosure: I paid for this bag myself and received no compensation. Griffin didn’t know I’d be reviewing this - I’m sharing my experience for others who might be considering him.

**Why I Chose This Bag**

I’ve loved the Saint Louis GM for a long time - it’s one of those bags that manages to be incredibly lightweight while still looking polished. The Green has always stood out to me for the Goyardine: however, I did not want to go the authentic with these prices, and pictures on TikTok of peeling bags😭 I also wanted something that I would feel more comfortable at the beach, and be less worried about spoiling.

I heard positive things about purchasing Goyard pieces from Griffin, so I decided to reach out and see what he had available!

**Timeline & Communication**

I contacted Griffin asking about Saint Louis GM options, and he responded quickly with clear photos and information. He also sent QC pictures right away, showing all angles of the bag.

**Timeline overview:**

* **Day 1:** Reached out, enquired about prices and availability
* **Day 2:** Paid via PayPal
* **Day 5:** Received QC pics; Green lit🙏
* **Day 15:** Delivered

Shipping was smooth and faster than I expected. The bag was packaged securely and came with a dustbag. Communication throughout the process was efficient and really friendly with Griffin. Overall, a very easy transaction.

**Quality Evaluation — 10/10**

This Saint Louis GM exceeded my expectations across the board.

**Canvas & Color**

* The coated canvas has that classic Saint Louis feel: lightweight, flexible, and slightly textured.
* The green is beautiful and looks very close to the official shade.
* The chevron print is clean, crisp, and evenly applied - no thick paint, no smudging, and no inconsistencies. It also still has that 'painted on' feel that Goyard has

The canvas folds and slouches naturally. It feels soft, albeit quite thin - but I read everywhere that is just the reality of the St. Louis.

**Leather Trim & Stitching**

* Stitching is straight and consistent with no loose threads.
* The leather trim feels firm and well-finished.
* Handle glazing is smooth and even, with no rough edges or overglazing.

As of now, there has been no peeling on the straps or leather. However, this is something that can happen even with authentic Goyard bags (main reason I wanted to go with the rep always for this piece), so I’m glad to see they’re holding up nicely.

**Silhouette & Structure**

* Side profile looks accurate When filled, it holds its shape well; when empty, it collapses in a natural way.
* The proportions of the GM size feel correct when worn over the shoulder.

**Interior Details**

* The interior yellow tone matches what’s expected for the Saint Louis — not overly bright or muddy.
* Seams are very clean and the finishing is tidy.

Overall, everything feels cohesive and well-made.

**Accuracy — 9/10**

A lot of small details line up very closely with authentic references:

* Chevron alignment is consistent
* Color tone is on point
* Handle length and curve feel accurate
* Canvas thickness feels right
* Trim texture works well visually
* Interior yellow is very close

The leather parts feel buttery, and the bag just feels nice! And luxe - although again, they are very common in the wild at this point.

The only thing I noticed is that the height measured about 1–2 cm shorter than what I’ve seen listed online. Because the bag is soft, this might easily be a measurement quirk on my side.

**The touching Ys**: This is something I find hard to judge. The pattern is so inconsistent in the Auths at this point from what I've seen, that I am not sure what the perfect structure should be. However the pattern here is consistent, with either touching or extremely close, in line with what I've seen be recommended, so I am super happy.

**Satisfaction — 10/10**

For the price and overall experience, I’m really happy with this purchase. The quality and accuracy are solid, communication with Griffin was smooth and helpful, and the bag performs exactly how I hoped it would, at a fraction of the cost.

**Final Thoughts — Would I Buy From Griffin Again?**

**Yes.**

This was my first experience buying from Griffin, and it went better than expected. He’s responsive, ships quickly, and the Saint Louis GM I received checked all the boxes for me. He also works with customisation, so I am hoping to include some initials on my next piece!

If you’re looking for Goyard pieces and want a straightforward, reliable buying process, I’d definitely recommend him😊
