I built a tool that fixes bad food photos—would love feedback from restaurant owners
Hey everyone, I’ve been working on something over the past few weeks after talking with several restaurant owners and food truck operators who all mentioned the same pain point:
“Our food tastes amazing, but our photos make it look worse than it is.”
So I built a small tool called Shutter Chefs that takes any photo (even one shot in bad lighting or on a busy countertop) and enhances it into a clean, professional-looking menu photo in a few seconds.
It’s mainly for: • Menus • DoorDash / UberEats listings • Social media • Seasonal specials • Catering sheets
I’m honestly just looking for feedback from real restaurant folks: • Would something like this be useful? • What features would make it more valuable? • Do you prefer pay-as-you-go, or a cheap monthly plan? • Anything you’d change?
If you want to test it, here’s the link: https://ShutterChefs.com And if you try it, use code WINTER25 for 25% off until the end of the year.
Not trying to hard-sell anything; just want honest input from people who run restaurants day-to-day. Appreciate any feedback you’re willing to share.
Thanks!
