How do I get into the local queer communitt as a middle aged person with little experience (UK)?

I'm 42, I'm bisexual and nonbinary, I definitely feel like I'm not queer enough - I look like a typical cishet woman, I've never had anyone to introduce me to the local community and so mostly been within het-passing relationships with cishet men.

I'm honestly not sure I'd ever be able to find a woman who would want to even try to date me, but despite mostly being with men I'm still definitely queer and want to meet someone. Also with the current political climate I feel it's important to have more of a IRL connection to our community.
