Picking a side?

Im on my first playthrough and im gonna side with the imperial but before I pick i wanna know if theres anything I can miss out on especially in stormcloak territories. I feel like ive done most if not all of the missions in all the towns, but if theres stuff i should really check out and make sure I've done could you tell me plz?
