What is this concept that I thought was love mapping?

I looked up love maps or love mapping today and it is completely different than what I thought it was. Now I'm trying to figure out what I was thinking of. It's the concept of all the stepping stones in your life that contribute to romantic attraction/connection.

For example, the frontman of my favorite band has salt and pepper hair, so when I first met my boyfriend I was attracted to his salt and pepper hair. My grandfather used to sing barbershop, so I was attracted to my future partner when I found out he sang barbershop. When my future partner first cooked for me, he made me his favorite Taiwanese dish without knowing that I had studied abroad in Taiwan.

Is there a name for this? And research?
