Best product to add texturing to short hair

My hair is straight, probably 1b or c, and while the strands are thin, i have a lot of them. My longest hair is like maybe 2 inches long, 4 cm or so

I have the garnier hair paste right now and its ok. I would prefer to use salt spray, but don't know if buying or making is better.

My goal is easy, natural looking texture

Any product advice?
