Saga Creature Tokens & The Master, Multiplied. Saga Rule Question
SOLVED
So, I've been constructing a deck around Saga's and [[The Master, Multiplied]]. The Master says that Triggered Abilities you control cannot cause you to sacrifice or exile creature tokens you control.
A different question brought me to a list of Saga rulings and I read this.
"
- 714.3b As a player’s precombat main phase begins, that player puts a lore counter on each Saga they control. This turn-based action doesn’t use the stack.
"
Does this mean that, the event of adding a lore token after your draw step, does in fact NOT count as a triggered ability? Therefore, The Master does not prevent the sacrifice of any saga creature tokens I might have on the field?
(The other question that brought me to the rules page was the exact same question but in regards to [[Clara Oswald]] adding lore counters on said supposed 'trigger' as I wanted to make all my saga creatures Doctors with [[Arcane Adaptation]].
Tl;dr
Does the event of adding a lore counter to a saga after the draw step, count as a triggered ability? What I've found on the rules pages suggests NO, however I want to make sure as it impacts a major function of my deck.
