How do you keep up with Tgel?
Sorry this is longwinded as fuck 😅 am a yapper & over-sharer by trade.
I’ve been on and off T for 5ish years, and def not necessarily because I want to, but because I’m just horrifically bad at keeping up with daily gel, and shots I cannot do on my own I have a massive needle fear. I currently live in MN where my only viable option for care is PP, and they won’t do shots for patients. The testo pellets when I got them in my home-state just rejected after a month or two (literally fell out of me it was crazy.)
I can be really good about it for like 2-3weeks to a month and then I just end up stopping and it takes every ounce of joy out of me and I feel defeated for like 2-3 months. I have awful ADHD and was dx’d when I was like 5/6, and even when I take my meds for that, it’s hard for me to incorporate it into my routine despite constant reminders, it takes too long for me, I’m prescribed 5 full pumps a day of the lower dosage because I have to be able to put it on my stomach because I have a cat and would hate to get any on her at all but especially directly.
Is there anyone who’s had issues with being consistent and is there anyway you’ve made it easier for you? Or are there other options for T in the US that I’m just not aware of yet? I feel my best on hormones, and I miss being consistent, it’s just gotten so hard for me :(
