Gas smell in cabin
I recently acquired 2019 X5 40i (G05). I've noticed that when I come to a stop (or are driving slowly), I can smell gas in the cabin. I've also noticed a gas smell coming from the engine bay. The car recently had its injectors replaced, as well as the fuel pump. I don't notice anything obvious when the car is running or when it's off unfortunately, other than the smell.
The HPFP fuel pump was broken and needed replaced, and I thought that is where the fuel smell was coming from, but I still smell gas after replacing it. I also replaced the gasket separately, but that also didn't alleviate the smell.
The injectors were NOT replaced by me, and were replaced prior to the fuel pump. I suspect it has something to do with the injectors at this point.
Where does the car suck in fresh air for the cabin? I suspect somewhere on the passenger side, since that's where the HPFP and fuel rails are, and I am smelling gas?
Any advice is appreciated!
