Too much removal?

Discussion

I finished a Bracket 3 game today and I had the feeling my opponents were quite unsatisfied and one of them commenting that they didn't enjoy playing against my deck.

The main issue I think was the amount of removal I played. [[Make an Example]], [[Soul Shatter]] and [[Swords to plowshares]], as well as an [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]] (which killed of some tokens, a mana dork and an Esper Sentinel, but got removed the same turn). That was all in the first 6-7 turns. The [[Ultima, Origin of Oblivion]] player was especially vexed because their commander didn't stick around long enough to untap with it.

The deck currently runs 18-20 pieces of removal, depending on your definition, and it wins by copying and cloning some ETB haymakers.

Do you think that too much interaction is bad for a good game experience? And is the amount in this deck already too much?

For reference, this is the deck I was playing.
