Worth waiting for new iPad Air 2026?

Hello everyone,i’m an iPhone user, i don’t have a personal computer, but in a few months i’m planning to buy a house and leave my parents one so i was looking for an iPad to use like pc. I can use it to browse, play games, stream, play and listen music directly from the couch or bed and even while coocking, thats why a pad and not a desk pc/pc. I was looking at the iPad Air M3 but i’m not really sure about the chip and the fact that is only 60 hz and 8 RAM. Do you think the next generation of Air will have an M4 and an upgrade about the 60 hz and RAM? I would like to purchase an iPad that can last like 8/10 years, and the Pro maybe it’s too much. I’m sorry if there is some mistakes, i’m from Italy, and thank you for your suggestions!
