[Question] £1k budget

Discussion

I’ve become slightly obsessed with watches over the past year after receiving one as a Christmas gift. Since then, I’ve been exploring lots of different styles—mainly affordable Chinese homage pieces. But now I think it’s time to invest in something a bit more polished.

I have fairly small wrists, so my ideal size is usually between 36–39mm. However, the Nivada Grenchen Antarctic has really caught my eye, even though it’s slightly outside my usual comfort zone. My budget is up to £1,000, and before I pull the trigger, I’d appreciate some advice / recommendations.

Has anyone here owned the Antarctic? What are your thoughts? And are there any other Explorer-style or integrated sports (my other temptation) watches in this price range that I should be considering?
