M12 Fuel 3" Sander, did I dodge a bullet

Home depot had the m12 fuel 3" Sander with 5.0 and charger on black friday. Ordered it along with some of the other deals. Once I got the order had everything except Sander. After chatting with cs, told me to wait until Saturday to see if it shows. It has not so tried to chat Saturday, wait time was 2 hours. So tried again today, first chat got abruptly ended while they were checking the status of the Sander. 2nd chat end with them saying it had been refunded even though I didn't request that, and the chat was needed before I could ask why.
3rd time they were gonna make it right, best they could do was sell me the tool only at 159, so I passed but got to keep battery and charger. Sure seems like I wasn't meant to get that Sander, so I wonder if I dodged the bullet. I figured I'd take a free battery and wait for another sale, unless theres a better Sander i should look at.

Tldr: Ordered $159 m12 fuel 3" Sander with 5.0 battery and charger, didn't get Sander cs offered to let me order bare tool at 159. Choose not to and got to keep battery and charger.
