[Online] [5e 2024] [times/days TBC] [UK] Trials Reach homebrew long term campaign

Player(s) wanted

I am looking for people who would be interested in embarking on a custom campaign online called "Trials Reach". I am a new DM so would preferably like people who are willing to be a bit more patient! This will also be quite an in depth, lengthy campaign so please only come along if you want to commit :)

As a bit of background for the campaign/world:

"The Trials Reach is a vast, almost world sized city that rests deep underground. Built over thousands of years, its become almost a lifeform of itself - its streets and villages creeping out in veins through the caving systems, the houses and temples strong bones and supports, the magic that fuels the cities lights and power create the cities beating heart. These cavernous underground systems were created by dwarves, a now extinct race, so long ago now no one seems to remember much about them or the reason for the caves in the first place. As time went on and civilization expanded, factions were created; Losadell, Solareos, Issurat and Kellanata. These factions gave the city structure, giving people a place to belong and allowing them to develop based on their innate skills and behaviors, ultimately helping place them in their ideal place in society. As a child you would be part of your parents faction/s but as you grew and developed, the city understood that nurture would not account for anything. Sometimes nature meant that your skills and soul belonged to a different faction, therefore the law to be able to change factions at 18 was introduced; all in the name of keeping order, peace and allowing people to live and serve their full potential. The surface almost seems a long forgotten memory for most inhabitants; now just something that is taught in schools and stories passed down through families. Though these often get distorted with inaccuracies over time, the base understanding is clear. The surface is not safe Years and years of atrocious wars and threats left the surface uninhabitable, though as the city started expanding beyond the capabilities of the dwarves caverns, it is now imperative that research begins to try and find a way to re inhabit the surface and reclaim the world. For most this is a distant and unrealistic dream but for others it provides the city with hope of a newer, fresher future."

This will be following 5e rules - and I do allow unofficial races/classes on the whole but they must be run by me first. Only rule is no dwarves (a bit impressive in this world considering they are extinct). Feel free to message me for more info
