Struggling to Grow My Guild – Looking for Advice from Experienced Leaders
Hey everyone,
I started playing Where Winds Meet during the first week of its global launch, and I’ve been having an absolute blast—sometimes so much that I forget time is even passing. When I unlocked the guild features, I was really intrigued and decided to create my own guild.
I did a lot of research on guild management and I consistently try to complete all available guild events. However, I’ve never been able to reach the weekly activity point cap. Since then, I’ve been actively searching for ways to recruit more active members. I constantly see other guilds overflowing with players, and I honestly hoped to grow mine to a similar size. Unfortunately, my member count has been stuck fluctuating between 3–5 people.
For some context: I log in every single day, playing at least 3 hours on a slow day and up to 10–12 hours when I’m free. I’m fully committed to this guild and really want to see it grow. Also, I mostly play in solo mode.
Here’s everything I’ve tried so far:
- Inviting guildless players in the open world (online mode)
- Broadcasting invitations in chat using the purple horn
- Mass-inviting players from the game’s recommendation list
Despite all this, I’m still struggling to gain and retain active members. I’d really appreciate advice from experienced guild leaders or anyone who’s been in a similar situation.
Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Is there something important that I’m not doing?
Are there better recruitment strategies that actually work?
Any tips, feedback, or personal experiences would mean a lot. Thank you!
