Suede shoes spraying

just got new nike suede shoes that are very pale creme in color. 1 wear & it got dirty in some places very easily, tried cleaning them but not much came off. So I’m thinking of spraying them before using them again but I'm worried they would get darker. i live in a not very wet environment, so my main worry is dirt not rain or water. Any advice?
