This huge update focuses on creativity, customisation and control, and includes multimodel support, chat branching, advanced editing tools and a lots of UI improvements.

Big new features

• Multimodel support (mix chat, image, summary, and embedding models)
• Chat branching + alternate timelines
• Avatar image generation
• Send images in chat (for models that support it)
• Encrypted backups
• Search messages inside a session
• Custom avatar gradients (up to 3 colors!)
• Avatar & background repositioning/cropping tools
• New empty state for Library

UI redesigns

• New Chat Character Card layout
• Tabbed Edit Character page
• Revamped Avatar editor
• Persona creation page now matches Create Character UI

Improvements

• New {{context_summary}} and {{key_memories}} placeholders
• Dynamic Memory is now much more responsive
• Navigation is more stable and predictable
• Big internal performance pass (less re-rendering, smoother transitions, faster DB ops)

Bug fixes

• Welcome screen skip no longer crashes the database
• Summaries now included in API requests
• Branches now generate proper unique IDs

This update makes LettuceAI far more flexible and visual, and much more fun to customise, while continuing to enhance speed, stability and memory performance.
