Weird problem with Bestseminartopics[.]com

I have absolutely no idea what is going on with my computer. Today I updated and restarted my computer and some weird stuff happened. First thing I noticed was some shortcuts on my home screen were deleted (some college stuff I got it back) then my google started acting up. This is where things get strange. When I open up google, it looked fine except there were some new shortcuts related to ASUS (my brand of laptop) and a shortcut to a site called bestseminartopics[.] com. Every time I search something into google it tries to load it in google but then immediately loads it in this bestseminartopics[.]com. The search results screen looks like what old google used to look like (entirely white screen instead of dark, very basic layout, etc). Does anybody have ANY idea on wtf is going on? I have dealt with computer viruses before but never anything like this. The weirdest thing is that it sometimes works normally????
