Cupra formentor 2025 can't turn off interior monitoring. Anti theft alerts

So I got my new formentor about a week ago. Since we live in a winter climate we usually turn on the engine and interior heater about an hour before leaving, depending on the temperature.

Now during the first two days, before registering the car with the My Cupra app, I used to turn on the heater no issue. After registering the car with the My Cupra app, every time the interior heater is on, the alarm goes off and I get anti theft alerts in the app.

Tried deactivating interior monitoring in the infotainment system several times but it keeps turning back on again by itself. And there is no way to deactivate it in the app either. As I said, I had no issues before connecting everything to MyCupra app.

Anyone with a potential fix? There has to be some bug or sync error between to app and the car for the settings to turn back on again no?
