A lack of comments on my fics bothers me more than it should.

I get that you should write for yourself first and I'm also not saying that I want so many comments that I become overwhelmed, but I haven't had a single comment on the last 6 A03 fics that I've written.

The thing is that I know full well that it's dumb to get so down over a lack of comments because I'm not the only one in the same boat, but also I've been fine with a lack of comments before and it's only now that the lack of comments has started to bother me.

Maybe my fics need to be better? I'm not saying I'm a phenomenal writer or anything, but I just don't know why now, all of a sudden, the fact that I'm not getting any comments has really hit me hard.
